First Deputy PM and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that Ukraine currently has approximately 15 GW of available electricity capacity (including cogeneration and imports), with plans to raise this to 19.6 GW by 1 November and 21.4 GW by year-end 2026, contingent on avoiding major new Russian destruction of restored assets.
